Job Description

Pay Rate: $35.00 / hour

Schedule: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Day Shift, Full-Time

Ability to work holidays and weekends per business needs

Key Responsibilities:

Planning, scheduling, & coordination of all planned maintenance work performed on the line to increase production

Coordinate with departments to develop and schedule preventative maintenance (PMs) for each piece of equipment

Schedule all work orders ensuring parts, tools, and machine availability

Conduct training with line crews to build mechanical troubleshooting capability

Understands and applies proper codification to materials

Understands and applies MRP concepts for stocked material

Enters and maintains correct material pricing and sourcing information in SAP

Contacts vendor to assure material specification, price and sourcing information are correct

Review all requisitions for accuracy and necessity

Create PO's and communicate to management when ready for release

Communicates order to vendor

Reviews open PO's and follows up with if necessary

Contacts vendor to coordinate material returns and obtain return material authorizations

Works with accounts payable to resolve invoicing and pricing variances

Support other maintenance back office roles as needed

Run weekly plan maintenance meetings to review PM's and rebuilds

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Minimum of five years of experience in an industrialized environment; and/or equivalent combination of experience/education

High school degree or equivalent and two years further education or equivalent degree preferred

Preferred advanced computer skills (Microsoft office), SAP, CMMS/MP2 (AMM) maintenance system

Familiar with Continuous Improvement methods

3 or more years on a PET Line or similar setting

Analytical problem solving skills

Ability to train others

Excellent communication skills, must communicate to both technical and non-technical staff.

Willingness to work flexible shift's depending on project/production requirements

Preferred ability to read and interpret complicated technical part manuals and catalogues.

Able to organize and manage many complex tasks.

Able to take direction and instructions remotely and apply in local environment.

Prior purchasing experience preferred
